There are many ways to work, learn and play here. Our doors are open to support both coursework and extracurricular activities. To get started, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Enroll on Canvas
To use TIW, the first step is to enroll on Canvas. Our Culture & Community (C&C) training module is the introduction to understanding and supporting the principles that make TIW a vibrant and collaborative community. After completing this module, students can enroll in equipment training.
Step 2: Get Trained
After enrolling in Canvas and completing the Culture & Community (C&C) module, students are ready to dive into our training for tools, machines and labs. Training typically involves completing virtual modules on Canvas, followed by an in-person training session with one of our staff members to help build expertise step-by-step.
Step 3: Design, Build & Test
From hands-on building experiences to problem-solving or completing class assignments to working on a team or preparing for a competition, TIW offers a range of resources to help students Get to Work. Choose your path:
