UT Austin engineering students at Battlebots competition arena

Texas Combat Robotics competed with their bot Horns of Fury in the 2024 SXSW Battlebots Metal Mayhem competition.

In only three weeks, the 10-person UT Austin student team designed, built and tested their 15-lb bot in preparation for the SXSW Battlebots Metal Mayhem competition. On the day of the event, Horns of Fury rolled away with two wins and two losses. One win included first place in the four-bot rumble match, where all competitors battled at the same time in a melee.
